This edition of Ticket to Ride brings the action to a new map covering the entirety of Europe. It maintains the core mechanic of collecting and playing train cards to claim routes but adds complexity and strategy with the inclusion of new route types:

• Tunnels: Introduce an element of risk, requiring players to draw extra cards to potentially complete them.
• Ferries: Require specific Locomotive cards to be claimed.
• Train Stations: Allow players to use an opponent's routes to complete their own destination tickets, though at the cost of victory points.

The game challenges participants to carefully plan their railway expansions and decide whether to risk building through the dark tunnels or establish strategic connections in major capitals to accumulate the most victory points.
