Discover Mindbug, the exciting card game designed by the legendary Richard Garfield, creator of Magic: The Gathering and King of Tokyo. In this strategic two-player showdown, summon unique creatures to defeat your opponent in intense duels. But beware, your rival can use their Mindbugs at any time to take control of your monsters.

The Mindbug box contains 52 cards featuring quirky creatures, from bears fused with bees to orangutans with lion heads. Suitable for players aged 8 and up, the game offers quick matches lasting 15 to 25 minutes.

To start, shuffle and deal. Each player receives 5 cards in hand and sets aside 5 face down. This set forms the roster of creatures you’ll use in battle. Additionally, each player gets three face-down cards as life point markers and two Mindbug cards.

On your turn, choose to either play a card or attack with a creature. When you play a card, your opponent can use a Mindbug to take control of the creature, allowing you to take another turn. When attacking, select a creature in play, and your opponent chooses a creature to block or loses one life point.

Cards have unique abilities, such as Frenzy, which allows attacking twice, or Stealth, which can only be blocked by stealth creatures. In each game, both players use only 20 cards, creating unique and random combinations.
