In this entertaining bluffing game, players try to offload as many cards as possible onto each other. To do so, they offer a card face-down to another player and declare what bug is depicted on it. The twist? They can tell the truth or lie! If the recipient guesses wrong, they must keep the card. And if someone ends up with four cards of the same bug—they lose the game!

Created by Jacques Zeimet (the renowned designer of Ghost Blitz), Bug Poker is a card game perfect for couples or groups of up to 6 players, ages 8 and up, with game sessions lasting about 30 minutes.

Throughout the game, players pass cards until someone either has four identical cards in their play area or runs out of cards to play, triggering the end of the game. All players start with the same number of cards. On their turn, each player chooses a card from their hand, offers it to another player, and names an animal or bug from the game. The recipient can either accept or pass the card.

• If accepted, they must decide if the claim is true or false. If they're correct, the first player keeps the card; if they're wrong, the recipient must add it to their hand.
• If passed, the card moves to another player, who looks at it secretly and offers it to someone else, continuing the process.

The game continues until someone forms a "bug poker" (four matching cards) or runs out of cards, losing the game.
