Iceberg

The seals and whales need your help! Hunters have arrived with their boats, gliding across the ice floes in search of their prey. Before they succeed, try to push them into the water by sliding and moving the ice blocks. The animals of the iceberg are counting on you! Designed by Dennis Merkx, Kees Meis, and Frank Van Steenbergen, Iceberg is a game for 2 to 6 players where you’ll work to protect seals and whales from the fishing boats and hunters. On your turn, you’ll slide three ice blocks across the board to knock the boats and hunters off the edge. But watch out! If you knock the seals or whales off the board, your turn ends immediately! You earn 1 point for each fishing boat and each hunter you push off the board, with the goal of reaching 5 points. Iceberg is played on a circular board that fits inside the game box. The ice block pieces are made of cardboard in different shapes and sizes, so it's difficult to predict how they will land when they slide into each other. The seals and hunters have their own wooden pieces, also in various shapes and sizes, meaning some pieces will fall more easily than others. Ideal for family play, Iceberg is visually captivating with its setup. As the ice blocks move, the boats, figures, and other blocks tumble, creating excitement. With a balance of strategy (choosing the right piece and angle to slide it) and luck (more pieces may fall than expected), and a quick game duration, fun is guaranteed. And don’t let the ice fool you—this game gives everyone, big and small, an equal chance of winning!
