Pacífica: La ciudad bajo el mar

The time has come to rebuild Pacífica, the legendary underwater city! In this exciting two-player board game, each participant is responsible for one of the city's districts and will compete in eight different categories: treasure, population, resources, architecture, knowledge, machines, grand festival, and diversity. Throughout the game, you can earn idols in these categories, rewards given by the grateful inhabitants of Pacífica.

Pacífica is designed by Matthias Prinz and Martin Kallenborn, with illustrations by Amber Scharf, perfect for players aged 10 and up. In each turn, players draw, play, and activate cards that shape their district. Each card shows symbols that, when accumulated, allow you to claim idols in their respective categories. But beware! Your rival can snatch the idols if they collect more symbols than you in the same category. If you manage to activate 7 or more symbols, you will secure the idol of that district, making it unattainable for your opponent.

With simple rules and a manual full of examples, learning to play is quick and easy. Games last about 30 minutes, offering high-tension strategic duels with a touch of luck. The game mechanics, reminiscent of the classic Lost Cities, will keep you constantly watching your rival's actions, who could steal your precious idols at any moment.

The variety of cards and the different effects you can activate, such as increasing your hand limit, drawing new cards, or obtaining additional symbols, guarantee many different strategies towards victory. Each of the seven decks, corresponding to the seven districts, adds even more depth and replayability to the game.
